30+ Years Experience
That’s not six people with five years of experience each! EB Safety Group was formed in 1992, by the merger of three safety groups that date back to 1972. Created by builders, for builders. Read more about our history here.
Not for Profit
The formation of the group relied on recruiting the best people, rather than building a company on cheap, inexperienced staff. We hold true to this today; all members’ fees are put back into making the service better for our members.
Two levels of membership

This is about our approach to the work we do.
We take this seriously and it shows by our dedication to the work. We try to work hard in everything we do. We may look as graceful as swans on site, but be sure that were kicking away under the surface. Keeping ourselves up to date with the best practices out there, improving our craft, and making sure were the best we can be.

This goes two ways. In the Office and on Site we will always endeavor to show respect to those out on site or in the boardroom. Everyone we work with deserves the same high level of treatment.
We also expect that our staff be given the same level of respect.
We may not always agree on a situation, or way forward, and we may have testing times. but we can respect each others opinions, and move forward.

When we come to work we bring our A game. This is a conscious choice. We put on our Hard Hats and Hi-Viz, and make sure we are in the right mental space to provide the best service we can to you, our members.
We are human, there may be struggles we are going through, and thats OK, we get that, but we try to be as focused as we can.

How hard do we work?
We turn up, every day and do our jobs to the best of our ability. We work for the benefit of our members and their site teams. We understand that our actions, or omissions have effects, and it is our job to try and bring home every site member in the same state they came to work in, with the same number of fingers and toes.

They have the pride of turning around that poorly performing site, into a good performer. Working with the site teams on coming up with solutions to their problems. Having spoken to a couple of contractors who used EB Safety Group and recommended them back in 2017, as well as seeing their client base covering some of the key contractors in the Cambridge area, we decided to employ EB Safety Group as our Safety Consultant.
We have seen a great improvement in the way site audits are recorded and issued and found our main Safety Advisor (Emma) is very supportive and proactive with our Site managers as well as our subcontractors.

All of our advisors have extensive practical experience - much more than book knowledge! They are able to advise on solutions and work with you to make an action plan that works.
21st century technology
All members have their own web portal where reports are given and updated; real-time analytics will show you the state of play at any time. Information can be accessed quickly and easily.
Local knowledge
Based in East Anglia and the Home Counties with offices and advisors located strategically, to provide rapid response should the need arise.
Back office support
It's good to know the names of the people you are working with and to build long-term relationships. You'll soon become familiar with the team here at EB Safety Group; we're not a frustrating call centre, you need answers fast.
Full range of training
We have a wide range of in-house training courses that can be delivered in person and we work closely with a number of local specialist training companies to provide courses at very competitive rates. Read more about training here.
